Wood patios

Shade is not a luxury in Arizona. We build solid wood patio covers with the same structural care and roofing detail we bring to the house itself.

Built as a roof, not an add-on

A patio cover has to carry its own load, resist monsoon wind uplift, and tie into the house without creating a leak at the attachment point. That ledger connection is where a lot of patio covers go wrong, and it is exactly the kind of detail a roofing contractor is equipped to get right.

What we build

  • Attached wood patio covers tied into the existing structure
  • Freestanding wood shade structures
  • Solid-roof covers with a finished roofing surface over the top
  • Structures sized and framed for the span and the wind load

Finishing and roofing the structure

Once the framing is up, the cover gets a real roof — panel, tile, shingle, or a coated low-slope surface depending on the design and how it meets the house. Drainage is planned so runoff goes where you want it, not against the foundation.
